Just a tip

If you like to take portaits, and dont have a lot of backdrops to choose between and at the same time don't feel like spending a lot of money on material you wont use every day, here is what you can do. Head down to your local wallpaper salesman and ask for some samples, they are often big enough for portraits or product shots and they usually come wrapped up in a roll so you can easily store them. Best of all, no charge!

Snow, snow, snow

Took a car ride with some friends today to a place called Bäckhammar, not too far from where I live. It's a wonderful spot this time of year, it's just so bloody cold at the moment! Tomorrow it's predicted to be around -44 degrees celcius in Särna, 300 kilometers from Kristnehamn, glad I dont live there!

Ended up with a few pictures that felt alright, hope you like them. Last picture is just around the corner from the flat, all the streetlights went black for some reason, thought I was gonna take the opportunity to photograph my neighbourhood but the darkness only lasted for 10 mins, maybe for the better.. was rushing out and forgot gloves. Cold camera!!

Knekta Kungar

What a great night! Took some pictures of a band called Knekta Kungar at Mastmagasinet, really nice guys and always fun to see them on stage. It was more than two years since I last took photos of them live. Anyway, if you would like to check them out you can find them on MySpace or on their Homepage.

First and last post for 2009

So I finally took the time to make a blog, was about time.

Will try to use this blog as a place where I can publish my W.I.P photos and art. I'm also trying to build alot of my own camera gear such as flash, tripods, reflectors and much more, hopefully they will become D.I.Y tutorials in the end which I can share if they turn out to be any good.

I'm posting my latest picture as a teaser for what to come, hope you like it.
